Lions and Leos, saddle up your horses and straighten those derby hats – because our District Convention is coming up, and we’re off to the races! This year, we’re bringing the excitement, color, majesty, and tradition of the Kentucky Derby to our Lions family.
Get ready for a weekend filled with high-energy fellowship, inspiring speakers, creative “race-day” fun, and powerful ideas to help our clubs run stronger and faster in service. Whether you’re a seasoned Lion or a first-time attendee, we want YOU in the winners’ circle with us!
Mark your calendars, invite your club, and come ready to celebrate, learn, and lead together at our “Run for the Roses” District Convention.

Register by April 10, and it’s only $40 per person with lunch (includes registration & continental breakfast), or register between April 11 and April 25, and the cost is $45. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR LUNCH BY APRIL 25, 2026. Registration ONLY for Saturday (includes continental breakfast but NO lunch) is $30 per person until April 10. After April 10, registration ONLY (continental breakfast included) is $35 per person. REMEMBER – ALL PERSONS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND ON SATURDAY!

Please note that you do not have to register for the convention to attend Friday’s events, but it would be extremely helpful if you DID indicate IN ADVANCE that you will be attending either or both events that day/evening!

• Friday, May 1, 2 -4 pm: Social and Kentucky Derby Party at the Orcutt Lions Den, 126 South Broadway Street, Old Orcutt. Have some fun dressing up. Don’t miss the horse “racing” and a hat contest – appetizers provided with a cash bar available.
• Friday, May 1, 5 pm – ???: Orcutt Lions First Friday Burger Night. You can help with this fundraiser and/or enjoy dinner ($12 for a burger and fries, $4 homemade desserts, plus a cash bar available). Pay Orcutt Lions with cash, check, or card that night. Stick around for the social time after!
